Using epoxy to repair oil pan

The aluminum oil pan had small leaks from scraping the ground. I chose the Blue Magic QuikSteel epoxy putty over JB Weld due to its higher rated temperature and pressure - not that the oil pan ever sees extreme pressure anyway. Then I chose the putty over the 2 part mixable epoxy due to the faster set and cure time of the epoxy. Plus the putty doesn't require the application surface to be absolutely dry. Win-win for gauging the quality of a repair I referenced the oil pan design but the video wasn't very clear.
