I will be covering the imported Japanese VG10 and AUS10, 10cr15comov, and the Damascus layers vs. Lasered Damascus layers. While I said that the Damascus is not real, I'm referring to a Damascus that is not fabricated by layering steels on to each other. The ''real Damascus'' what most people refer to today is the layered steels on to each other. This is only for aesthetic purposes. Lasered Damascus, on the other hand, is ''fake Damascus''. Because that can be washed away over time. Damascus Edging, this is interesting. If they edged the Damascus pattern deep enough, then you won't be able to wash this away either and therefore achieving the aesthetic without layering all the steals together. Both Edging and Lasered is a cheaper solution, but I personally would not buy a lasered one. When buying AliExpress knives, it is important to know that not all brands and even the same brand's knife series will not perform the same. The quality control is not perfect, that's why I make individual knife reviews. I can't recommend knives because brands like Grandsharp or Findking I like the brand but not all the knives that they sell and the Grandsharp example in this video is the perfect example.
