This process would definitely take me a long time to delete all the gaps in the audio recording. Let's assume I have this audio recording, as you can see, a normal recording I made for one of my YouTube tutorials, but as you notice, I have multiple gaps. I want to get rid of these gaps without deleting them manually. The method inside the AdBuy Edition program is very easy and simple without any complication. All you have to do is go to the Windows menu in the program and go down to an option called Diagnostics. Click on it and the menu will open. Initially, the first option may look different from what you see. Click on it and choose Delete Silence. This option means deleting silence gaps; select it like this. You can also click on Preset and choose the preset that suits you. You have a set of options you can try to get the result you want. I won’t go through each individually, but you can experiment to find what works best. The first option reduces by 38; you can specify the waveform level you want to delete. For example, if the waveform is around 21, you choose minus 21. I prefer minus 38 because all waves in my recording are above this number; anything below minus 38 will be deleted. The next option determines the gap width in milliseconds, where 1000 ms equals one second. For example, I choose 500 ms, which equals half a second, suitable for natural voice gaps. Other options are less important; focus on the first two and the presets. After setting everything, click Scan to detect the audio waves. As you notice, the program finds all gaps. You can click on each gap to check it. Once satisfied, click Delete, and the audio will be free of all gaps.
