Ducati 848 2nd Gear Clutch Wheelies

Follow me on instagram @WSmithStagram Me and a buddy decided to go hit the corners until wheelies on the straight aways became the main focus of the ride. All of my Ducati 848 wheelies in previous videos have been 1st gear clutch ups, and I have finally taken some time to get the second gear clutch ups down! The issue that many people have is that the Ducati 848 cuts power when you drop the clutch from high rpm's, which doesnt affect 1st gear wheelies using the clutch because you don't have to rev high to get it to pop up in 1st gear but second takes a little more umphhh so what you have to do is simply be quick on the clutch rev and compress the forks by leaning forward and go full throttle as soon as you let the clutch out to bring it up. for those of you who think this is just a joke and if you rev it high enough it will come up here are some comments from the ducati forum from riders who can pop 2nd gear clutch wheelies no problem on other middle weight (600cc) bikes. "Hey Everyone, I had a question about bringing my bike up in 2nd gear using clutch, Whenever i try to do this it wont let me. It feels as if power cuts off. I clearly does cut off. I can do them in 1st gear using throttle and clutch but i would prefer bringing it up in 2nd gear using my clutch. Any ideas?" "i do feel you on this topic. i tried on my 848 evo and it just wont get up..1st gear its easy, 2nd gear it just seems like the bike says hell no" "I have owned my 848 for almost two months now and like the first person said when you try to clutch it up it stalls." You get the point!! so sit back and let me show you how to get these bad boys starting between 30-40mph and you can take them 20-30mph faster than your 1st gears before coming down.
