Auto Race (オートレース, Ōto Rēsu) is a Japanese version of motorcycle speedway, but combines gambling added into it and is held on an asphalt course. Gambling is very restricted in Japan. Kōei kyōgi (公営競技 ; public sports) is one of the few legal ways to gamble, and it allows races on horseback, bicycles, boats and motorcycles. You can find all 4 on YouTube.
