Hello, I set out on this nature walk hoping to find the milk thistle. It was a weed I'd never seen up close before, only online. After a month of intensive research, I found the milk thistle. In some regions, it's also known as kenger thorn, milk thistle, hook herb, kenker thorn, masticoto, saricakız, blessed thorn, and white thorn. Finding milk thistle in the same place as camel thorn was a great pleasure for me. I've now had the opportunity to give you a better introduction. I've discussed how to collect and clean the milk thistle. I've also explained how the size, color, and dried stems from the previous year's harvest differ from the milk thistle. It has local names like camel thorn, eryemana thorn, meryemanadikeni, and holy mary thorn. It's a very popular edible herb, especially among the Aegean herbs.
