We pick up where we left off last week in the beautiful Crystal Cove Campground. Jeff & Deb were superb hosts, showing us all the highlights from walking to The Beachcomber and even the Shake Shack. When we're with the Spencers, there's always a little adventure, and this time was no exception. We rode the Amtrak from Oceanside to San Diego and rode our bikes along the Coastal Rail Trail back up the coast. This was a great experience, even if the weather didn't cooperate the entire time. If you ride or follow in our footsteps, we might suggest starting north of San Diego, as riding out of the city was a bit chaotic. After an enjoyable time in Newport Beach, we end the episode in Solvang, California, a small Dutch town that has been recommended to us for years.
