TOLOX ✨ Pueblo Mágico de pasado Árabe y Balnearios Antiguos

We explore the urban layout of Tolox, which clearly bears the mark of its Arab heritage, with narrow, winding streets that spill out onto the steep terrain of the eastern foothills of the Sierra de las Nieves mountain range in Málaga, lined with whitewashed houses. Wandering through the town's streets, we are surprised by its fountains, hidden alleyways, remnants of its castle, its commitment to street art with works by various artists, and its strong devotion to Saint Roch, the town's patron saint. We will also visit the Church of Saint Michael the Archangel and the House Museum of Popular Art and Traditions, adjacent buildings where we can learn about the town's culture and history. To the south of the town, following the Río de los Caballos (River of the Horses), we will explore the area around the Fuente Amargosa Spa. This complex was built in 1867 to take advantage of the healing properties of the springs and natural waters that flow in this region.
