Kristoffer Larson on Setting up a Session For a Weapon Element in Nuendo | Studio Session
Compiling a weapons sounds library for gaming is a complex task, with many recorded parts. In this Nuendo Studio Session video about, Kristoffer Larson of Formosa Group Interactive demonstrates setting up a session for a weapon element in Nuendo. Nuendo game assets can be exported in a very efficient way, making it the perfect post production DAW for game audio. Gun sounds in video games have multiple elements, so using folders in Nuendo helps to organise the sound design sessions, sending elements to uniquely-named buses. Together with multiple marker tracks and batch export, all the elements can be normalized to a common loudness standard and exported via Game Audio Connect to the relevant middleware. It highlights how Nuendo production software makes sound design for video games fast and intuitive. We hope you find this video entertaining and useful.
