If you'd like to see traditional dances from Peru, head down to La Candelaria Centro Cultural in Barranco and book yourself a table to watch its shows. Booking your table online is ideal. But if you're told there are no tables available, you could go directly to the property before the show and ask the receptionist or doorman if there are any. You might get lucky. I did exactly that and got a table. Note: Visitors can purchase their tickets for as low as 40 soles. Food and drinks are not included in the ticket, but visitors can order them at the show.
