Winter Camping Using Cheap Summer Gear, Is It Possible?
I tested whether or not it is possible to use normal summer camping gear in a winter situation. Summer gear right down to the sleeping bag I used. The Sleeping bag is a Woods Canmore 4LB fill which is what I use in the summer and shoulder seasons. The tent is a cheap-o Ozark Trail tent from you know where. I had a run of the mill thermarest that was on sale of course, and my rickety old folding chair. Dinner was a delicious faux thanksgiving feast using all canned or boxed ingredients. The campground actually had free firewood, hard to believe. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Socials: • Facebook: / campingwithsteve • Instagram: / campingsteve • Twitter: / hunkerdownsteve ----------------------------------------------------------------
