Route 66 Oklahoma centennial celebration

In this video we take an amazing road trip down historic route 66, This was probably my favorite stretch of route 66. unfortunately we lost a lot of the footage. we met Mr Charles from the dairy king who was so kind and spent several hours with him talking about route 66, we had an amazing discussion with the owner of the seaba motorcycle shop who then introduced us to jerry McClanahan then we met shellee graham who spent a lot of time telling us what we should see on route 66 and was so incredibly kind, she Even gave us a coaster we will turn into a magnet (she was at the Arcadia red barn outside of OKC) Afterwards we met Harley who was such an interesting character at the sandhill curiosity shop (not a store) after that we went through the almost ghost town of texola Oklahoma. we saw the catoosa whale, buck atoms, the outsiders house, tiny jail in texola, we stayed at the western inn in vinita and had an amazing walk around about the world record holder car for most stickers. we stopped by lucellies famous gas station. the Cherokee tribal center where we talked so much about Cherokee customs and language.
