Sainte Maxime - Golfe de Saint-Tropez - Côte-d'Azur
Sainte-Maxime is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. With 13,968 inhabitants in 2017, it is the largest city in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Its inhabitants are called Maximois and Maximoises. Sainte-Maxime, backed by its marina, is a very popular seaside resort, anchored to the Massif des Maures by a vast wooded area that extends well beyond the surrounding hills.
