Carriere Class II correction | Tom Nasiopoulos (case D.P.)

Again, the correction of a moderate Class II malocclusion by means of the Carriere Motion Appliance is presented here. The patient was a 13 year old lady. The treatment lasted approx. 2 years. After the Carriere, fixed appliances were bonded on both dental arches. Class II elastics were used both in the Carriere phase AND in the fixed appliances phase. Fixed and Essix retainers were provided for the upper and lower dental arches in order to maintain the desired results of this orthodontic treatment.
