Riga Listening Map — A Day in Three Places [No Loop]

Riga Listening Map is a project that observes Riga and how the city changes in different places: in the forest, by the river, and in the urban environment. The recordings were made in the morning, afternoon, and evening, several days apart, between April and June 2026. Because the project was recorded over a longer period of time, some places, such as the forest, changed more noticeably, while others, such as the river, changed less. The urban environment remained almost unchanged. This video features short excerpts from the nine videos produced as part of the project. Project notes The recordings were made over several weeks between April and June 2026. No sounds or events were removed from the recordings. Weather, wildlife, traffic, construction work, aircraft, and human activity remain part of the project.
