With this batch Vic was trying to keep the cost as low as possible for the customer. The extra machining is time consuming for the hidden lanyard hole. If you do drill the hole yourself, I recommend keeping the knife in the Sheath or removing the Scales.(we don’t need a helicopter of death ) It’s been three years since the initial drop, you will hardly notice an increase in the cost, and that’s with a micarta option and handle texture on the G10.
