Protective styling reduces ongoing manipulation of the hair, encourages growth and length retention and furthermore reduces knots and tangles. Protective style doesn’t require much daily upkeep or constant manipulation. I am able to wear my hair like this for up to two weeks without restyling/ manipulating, encouraging my hair to flourish and remain healthy.
