How To Breed Hillstream Loaches
Hillstream loaches are entertaining little oddball fish that will breed readily in many home aquariums, especially river tank biotopes. In this video, I discuss my experiences breeding reticulated hillstream loaches (sewellia lineolata) in my 40 gallon river tank. After a slow start with minimal spawning activity in the first year, my hillstream loaches really took off, spawning almost daily and producing 20+ fry in year two. Many of these fry are well on their way to adulthood and have started really competing for prized algae wafers with their (still much larger) parents. Hope you enjoy the video and feel free to comment below!
