Chinglish Cantonese Wine Bar and Restaurant in Summerlin Las Vegas Restaurant Review
Chinglish Cantonese Wine Bar Address: 8704 W Charleston Blvd Ste 101, Las Vegas, NV 89117 Hours: 11:30am-3:00pm, 5:00pm-10pm Daily Chinglish is a family owned and operated Chinese/Cantonese restaurant located in the Boca Park shopping center in Summerlin Las Vegas. Its been open for a couple years now since 2020. The Executive Chef Po Fai Lam is the Dad of the family and has more than 40 years of experience working in kitchens in Hong Kong, Beijing, and San Francisco. And the Mom of the family Anna Lam also has over 30 years of experience and hand folds the dumplings every single morning. You will often find their daughter/son in law working the front of the house, greeting and welcoming customers. This restaurant also has a Kosher side next door that offers some of the same food and also some different items all prepared in a completely kosher way.I went and tried out their regular restaurant on this trip but it is nice to know they have this to offer for the Jewish community in town. On my visit today I ordered the Hot and Sour Soup for $10.00(I accidentally said it was $8 in the video, but the soup actually costs $10), Poh Poh's Chicken Dumplings for $13.00, Crispy Pork Belly for $18.00, Lunch Box Combo for $20.00, Portuguese Fried Rice for $39.00, and Mango Coconut Tapioca for $9.00. Total $118.13 with tax not including tip. I went during lunch hours but the dinner menu and most of the beverages/cocktails are available during lunch. And they do have a wide selection of wines, sake, and beer to choose from. The Lunch Menu is cheaper in price compared to the Dinner Menu but it is also smaller portions. All the food came out hot, fresh, and tasty. The Hot and Sour soup was the only thing that I didn't like too much but thats because it was too spicy and sour for me. The service was good and didn't take too long for each dish to come out. I also liked the decor of everything inside and all the paintings were cool to look at. The only thing that would keep me from coming back here is the price. Its very expensive and they charge Strip prices for everything. But I guess you get what you pay for because everything tasted pretty high quality.
