Slow Coastal Photography on the Northumberland Coast
Join me in Episode 2 of this three-part photography series in Bamburgh, Northumberland, one of the most breathtaking coastal locations in England. With its iconic Bamburgh Castle, dramatic coastline, sandy beaches, rolling dunes and offshore lighthouses, this is a true paradise for landscape and seascape photography. After exploring the castle and beach in Episode 1, I head further along the coast to the Bamburgh lighthouse and surrounding shoreline, slowing the pace and immersing myself in the landscape. This episode focuses on long exposure photography, creative experimentation, and mindful observation of light and conditions. Episode 1: • My First Road Trip to England (Part 1) This is a personal episode about reconnecting with photography, embracing imperfection, and learning to slow down and respond to the light rather than force it. Even when things don’t go perfectly (rusty long exposure skills included), the magic of Bamburgh’s coastline at golden hour and twilight still shines through. 📍 Location: Bamburgh, Northumberland, England -------- Free Monthly Mindful Photography Guide: https://bit.ly/4c7qMCu Mindful Coastal Photography Retreats 🌊 https://kimgrant.net/coastal-retreat-...
