This was due to rockfall that cut off part of the trail. In September of the same year, two consecutive typhoons made landfall, damaging most of the trail. It's been five years since access was restricted. Visitors who arrived unaware of this are now turning away in disappointment. Section 4-1, which is in the middle, is here, and it's a shame it's blocked when I get there, but I like walking, so I can keep walking..." The delay in opening is due to compensation. Part of the trail is built on private land, and the owners demanded the demolition of the structures. We negotiated with the owners to proceed with the project, and the compensation was completed in November 2023." Seo-gu completed the project design in June of last year and began construction in August. And the structural work was only completed last month. However, the landscape lighting, CCTV, and broadcasting equipment remain incomplete. Accordingly, the district will temporarily open the trail starting on the 12th. Opening hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Permanent opening is planned for October, once safety equipment is completed.
