"Tattoos Make You Look Like A Monster" | UK Army Rejects Recruits With Ink
Over 800 potential Army recruits were turned away due to their tattoos, and another 400 were rejected for having body piercings, even though the Army is experiencing a recruitment crisis. These numbers would have been sufficient to fill the ranks of a brigade. While the Army relaxed tattoo rules ten years ago to allow them on the neck and hands, inkings on the head and face remain unacceptable. Tattoos depicting explicit content, violence, or illegal drugs are also prohibited, along with piercings that significantly alter one's appearance. Despite facing a shortfall of 12,000 recruits since 2018, the Army has rejected 126,000 potential recruits over the same period. The Talk panel of JJ Anisiobi, James Max, Kevin O'Sullivan, Esther Krakue and Emma Wolf discuss. #news #army #military #tattoo #piercing #talktv #talkradio
