Elite Force - Live at Fozzy Fest, 2012

My good friend Geordy Carson booked me to play Live at Fozzy Fest in 2012 as Elite Force. It was a heavy weekend that involved shows in Denver, Philadelphia and in the Kananaskis mountains, two hours outside of Calgary ... not to mention two transatlantic flights and 72-hours of sleep deprivation! Fozzy Fest was epic. Set in incredible mountain surroundings, it was like a small-scale version of Shambhala, built with love and forged through community. This high-quality recording of the event suddenly materialized through the ether in 2021 ... and it's really not bad at all! This was an interesting time for music - this set is a journey through multiple genres and is very much about sustaining a real sense of peak-time energy. Many of the photographers have their idents on the photos I used to piece this tribute to FozzyFest together.
