Restoration: Rewiring My G27's Pedals (Fixing My Broken G27)

Long story short, my G27’s throttle pedal was spiking which indicated a dirty potentiometer, so I disassembled the pedals to clean the potentiometers, however upon unscrewing the screws, the original cable was caught in the treads of the screw which severely damaged the cable even though it was still operational. Then after cleaning the pedals, I was putting them back together and then the cable snapped where it had been caught in the screw meaning I needed to get a new one. But I didn’t know where from. After about an hour of searching I found a French distributor on eBay that sold the cable, and after confirming the cable is a replacement pedal cable for the G27 and not some dodgy thing, I ordered one of them.
