First-Generation Student Success Story: Rebekah Buena | FIRST DEGREE Episode 1

FIRST DEGREE: The journeys of first-generation college students Meet Rebekah Buena. She is a graduate of Bruce Randolph School in Denver who got hooked on higher education through nearby CSU Spur, became a horticulture intern, and recently entered CSU as an Honors student in landscape architecture. She is one of eight students highlighted in an inspirational docuseries that charts the stories of first-generation scholars as they pursue higher education and its benefits; the series helps celebrate the 40th anniversary of Colorado State University programs supporting first-gen students.
