Materials Used 270 GSM watercolor paper Watercolor paints Round & flat brushes (small & medium sizes) Clean water container Tissue / cloth for blending and correction Pencil for initial sketch Palette for mixing colors Step-by-Step Process 1. Initial Sketch A light pencil outline of the vase and single flower is drawn to define the composition. 2. Base Wash (Light Layer) A soft watercolor wash is applied to create the background mood and foundation. 3. Vase Painting The vase is built gradually using light layers, maintaining transparency and shape. 4. Flower & Stem Work The stem is painted first, followed by delicate brushwork on the petals. 5. Layering & Shadows Darker tones are added to create depth, contrast, and natural form. 6.
