Ep 4. Exploring Carcassonne Beyond the City | Cathar Castles, Giant Caves & Van Life France

In this episode of my solo ,off- grid journey in my micro camper around Europe, I continue exploring the area around Carcassonne- there is so much more here than the famous city. I visit the incredible Lastours Cathar Castles, perched high above the landscape, before heading underground into one of the largest caves in Europe, the Gouffre Géant de Caprespine. Dramatic views above, to hidden but equally impressive worlds below, this was a day to remember. Before I leave the area, I even spot a large herd of Mouflon; something completely new for me, and grateful to experience such elusive creatures.
