Approximately 35 varieties and 5,000 hydrangea plants bloom throughout the temple grounds, creating a breathtaking scene with the three-story pagoda in the background. The national treasure Jōruri-ji Temple is also nearby. While access is inconvenient, it's a wonderful place well worth visiting.
