Streetcar called the key to getting to and from new Royals ballpark
The unveiling of the Royals' new ballpark site plan just southeast of Crown Center means fans driving to games won't have a single parking location like they do at Kauffman Stadium. For that reason, Kansas City's streetcar is being called key for transportation needs. One of the stops on the streetcar route is at Union Station, a short walk to where the new ballpark is planned.
