#ndr #ndrdoku #agriculture Two brothers, a small farm, and a unique idea: Maarten and Berend Heins from the small town of Rockstedt in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district of Lower Saxony run a farm shop delivery service. Their idea: They collect food from surrounding farms and deliver it to private customers in the region, including a friendly chat at the doorstep. Business has boomed, especially since the pandemic! And everyone benefits: Customers get fresh, regional produce, participating farmers gain a new, modern sales channel, and the two farming brothers are potentially making the most money of their lives. It all started just a year and a half ago, very modestly, in their grandmother's living room. "Die Nordreportage" follows the two brothers through a particularly challenging phase of their lives.
