Day 9 — SA Road Trip — Howick to Drakensberg! [incl. KZN Midlands]

I still can't believe the natural beauty I witnessed on this leg of the trip. The midlands and the entire drive up to the Drakensberg was breathtaking. Now, I know you might be wondering why I didn't go to the Royal Natal National Park and hike the Drakensberg mountains like everyone else does, and there's two reasons for that: 1) I didn't have enough time and I wanted to get to the retreat in time for a swim, and 2) I'm built like a wonky potato, so I don't hike.
