John 17:5 & Trinity World's Hopeless Translations

Part 4 - How Jesus was referring to the glory he had "before" refers to the glory he was having alongside the Father during his ministry The Greek text does not require the absurd interpretation of Trinitarians nor their translations. And the contextual facts also deny their interpretation/translations. In John 17, Jesus is no longer "in the world" (v.11) because he is finished the work that the Father gave him to do (v.4). At John 17:5, Jesus is referring back to verse 4 and the glory which he was having alongside the Father doing the works of the Father which he was doing when he was "in the world." Now he prays to be glorified in the cross (v.1) and that he will be glorified alongside the Father in it (v.5). "Why do you not know what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from himself, for he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I speak the truth, you do not believe me. Which one of you convicts me of missing the mark? If I speak truth, why do you not believe me? He who is of God hears the words of God. For this reason you do not hear them, because you are not of God." John 8:43-47 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. They are from the world, therefore they speak as from the world, and the world hears them. We are from God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not from God does not hear us. By this we know the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of delusion/deception. 1 John 4:4-6 The Spirit of Truth guides them into all the truth. John 16:13. But most refuse to believe and they rather seek the guidance of their own fleshly desires.
