Set against the backdrop of the 1916 Easter Uprising in Dublin, Joseph M Plunket's involvement in the event led him to Grace. Their love story, tragically poignant, unfolded in the most challenging of times. Joseph, facing a sentence of death, married Grace in the very chapel of Kilmainham Gaol shortly before his execution. Grace's unwavering dedication to their cause led her down a path of hardship as well. Her arrest and imprisonment in Kilmainham only added to the depth of their story. It's a tale of love, resilience, and sacrifice that continues to touch hearts to this day.
