'Yeovil Town' 2mm Finescale Model Railway (WIP)

Yeovil Town is a 2mm finescale layout which is under construction by Laurie Adam of the North Mercia Area Group (NMAG). It is an ongoing large personal project, reconstructing the area of Yeovil Town station (Joint SR/GWR) to scale, including the environs (Durston branch and Weymouth main line) which have been compressed but principal features of countryside and urban area are represented. It is set during the 1930s, and features Great Western and Southern locomotives and rolling stock prototypical to the period and area. In the goods yard is a working shunting tractor. The layout is approximately 9.5m x 4.5m and can be viewed on public open days.
