SOFIA ESCALANTE, INSPIRADORES 2014

At just 10 years old, Sofía Escalante has done something no one else has: she donated three monitors to the Children's Hospital, monitors that were urgently needed but unavailable due to lack of funds. She did this because her leukemia diagnosis exposed her to a reality that had previously been completely foreign to her. So, she spontaneously suggested to her parents that during her chemotherapy treatments, she make bracelets to sell. At only 10 years old, she teaches us, in 2014, that those who view their experiences with love will inevitably bring forth fruits of love, both in their own lives and in the lives of others. Sofía is the star of our 2014 Inspirational Campaign.
