Nó Andaluz ( nó de ancoragem com resistência maior que a do oito duplo)

Created and officially recognized in 2012 by the Andalusian Speleological Federation, the Andalusian Knot was invented as part of a research project by Víctor Suárez and Manuel Durán to discover new knots and lashings. The main function of this knot is to allow the practitioner to create a fixed anchor so that at the end of the day, the system can be easily dismantled without difficulty untying the knot. In static load rupture tests carried out by the FAE, the Andalusian knot withstood high loads before breaking, exceeding the regulations for the double figure-eight knot. The Andalusian knot does not slip or bite the rope, thus eliminating the need for a fuse system, which is made with cords or tubular tapes to relieve tension on a knot at the anchor.
