Ma première fois aux Restos du cœur

In Rouen, Kelly, 30, a mother of two young boys, walked through the doors of the Restos du Cœur (a French food bank) for the first time in her life this week. She has a permanent job, but her hours have been reduced. Jessica, a caregiver in a retirement home, is only 20 years old, and on Wednesday she came to collect her first food basket, enough to feed her for a week. Jessica and Kelly are the new faces of the Restos du Cœur, the faces of the newly impoverished. Like her, more and more young people, students, and working people are coming to ask for help. How will the Restos cope with the surge in registrations this year and the constant need to replenish their food supplies?
