neuer Trend: Lightriding WindSUP im Test auf dem Starnberger See

New trend: Lightriding WindSUP tested on Lake Starnberg. Nico from the Surf + Sail + SUP Center in Tutzing at the Nordbad (https://www.nordbad.de) introduced us to the latest trend, and we even got to try it out ourselves. The weather was perfect: midsummer temperatures, a clear blue sky, and a view across the lake to the Alps. The light wind was also ideal for the inflatable boards with their inflatable sails, which can be inflated practically with just one finger. Ideal for people who have already tried SUP (stand-up paddleboarding) and a step towards windsurfing, but very easy to learn and offering beginners a quick sense of accomplishment. Even beginners can playfully try out maneuvers; a whole new freestyle feeling is made possible by the WindSUP in light winds on the lake. Which, after all, are the "normal" wind conditions on most lakes. Don't worry if the wind dies down while you're out: the Surf + Sail + SUP Center Tutzing also has a motorboat to bring stranded paddlers back to shore.
