Like Cyrus, King of Persia: The Future of Mankind Is Already Recorded in the Bible Just as Cyrus, king of Persia, discovered the prophecy about himself in the Bible and was so moved that he liberated the Israelites from captivity and built the temple in Jerusalem, so too must we believe the prophecies recorded in the Bible. Filled with the same profound joy as Cyrus, we must preach the gospel that God has commanded us with all our heart and with all our soul.
