Dani Jackel wanted to conduct a social experiment to denounce harassment by reversing the roles: harassing men in the street to see their reactions. But her plan didn't go as planned. Instead of being uncomfortable or shocked, many men reacted positively, completely undermining her message. What was supposed to be a demonstration of the impact of harassment turned into a total failure. Why did this experiment fail? Why didn't men react as expected? Was it a bad idea from the start or a true indicator of gender differences in the face of harassment? In this video, we analyze this attempt, the reactions it generated on social media, and what this reveals about perceptions of harassment depending on the context.
