Inside DPRK Part II - North Korean Countryside in the Kim Il Sung Era
The second part of a unique documentary shot by Dieter SCHMITT while working and living in North Korea for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) between 1990 and 1992 and afterwards traveling to the country on ad-hoc consulting missions. 90% of the footage has been shot by Dieter during his car trips alone without any guide or minder and the remaining 10% ( trip to Rason and Kaesong + Panmunjom ) was done with North-Korean guides. Keep in mind that this footage has been shot between 1990 and 1995 with pre-digital era Sony Hi8 camcorder so image resolution is far lower than current digital quality standards.
