Verne Gagne vs Hans Schmidt 1950's Chicago professional wrestling
Here's a great match from The International Amphitheater in Chicago. From Fred Kohler's territory in the 1950's, the All-American Verne Gagne takes on "The Teuton Terror" Hans Schmidt. One of the great heels of the 1950's and 60's Schmidt started out under his real name of Guy LaRose. Gagne would go on to co-found, promote and be champion for the AWA. Thank you all for your support, the ad revenue from Youtube has helped me to purchase some new films. This is the first of several never before seen matches that I will be posting. Please continue to support the ads and DVD's You can visit my website http://wrestlingfilms.blogspot.com/ for more classic wrestling and DVD information.
