In this video, we start the F8Q engine with the Bosch VE pump installed. It started right up with the key, immediately. However, the pump has a problem: it revs up on its own and won't hold an idle. I took it to a diesel workshop with a specialist pump technician, etc., for repair. I kept the original Lucas injectors from the Kangoo, since they operate and open at the same pressure (130 BAR) as the original Bosch injectors on this injection pump. I used the original high-pressure fuel lines from the Bosch VE pump; I only had to bend them a little more, and they fit perfectly. This is an experiment on how to install an original Bosch VE pump from a Renault 19 Express, Trafic, Clio, onto a Kangoo, Clio, Megane, etc., with an original Lucas Delphi DPC EPIC pump.
