Description Oxygen therapy is one of the new OSCE skills (2022) Alloted time is 10minutes. Ensure prescription is valid, legible and complete. A reservoir mask is the required device, set at a flow rate of 15l/minute. Ensure patient is comfortable with the chosen device Re-assess the oxygen saturation level, if it is within target rateis(94-98%) if not escalate as appropriate. Ensure to act professionally through out the procedure in line with NMC code of conduct. Please note, give call bell before leaving finally.
