¿Qué tan urgente es el ajuste económico en Bolivia?

After 15 years of ignoring warnings from international organizations and exhausting the "golden goose" of gas, Bolivia faces a currency and reserves crisis that can only be reversed through a program to adjust its development model and a drastic shift toward promoting investment (both domestic and foreign). Economist Ramiro Cavero argues that the country is now experiencing the consequences of "the cost of not adjusting," after having financed a spree of public spending and unsustainable subsidies with savings that have now been depleted. To avoid a scenario of higher inflation and shortages, Cavero proposes restoring legal certainty to attract foreign capital and adjusting critical variables such as the exchange rate and fuel costs, thus restoring normalcy to an economy currently suffocated by the deficit. #EconomicAdjustment #EconomicCrisis #Bolivia #FundaciónCiudad #OtroKanal
