Forget about becoming a professional". 18 years old: Began 10 years of violin studies with some of the best violin teachers in Europe - first in France, then in Germany. 28 years old: Became a professional violinist, playing some of the most difficult pieces. Started teaching my first pupils. 30 years old: Performed in concerts, including a live TV performance for over 1 million viewers. 31 years old: Published my first book in German on learning to play the violin as an adult (sold over 5,000 copies). 32 years old: Founded "Geigenakademie", an online violin school for adults in German. 34 years old: Studied over 800 books, starting with most of the books on learning to play the violin from 1751 to the present, then analysing the teachings of the most successful violin masters, and finally researching anything that could help me develop the best possible method. 36 years old: The "Geigenakademie" has grown beyond my imagination - with hundreds of students learning to play the violin from all over the world. Today: I create free content to make real violin training available to everyone. We also opened "The Violinacademy". This is the new English version of our online violin school, where our world-class team teaches adult students to master the violin.
