World of Warcraft: Midnight Video Review
World of Warcraft: Midnight reviewed by Leana Hafer on PC. I spent more time with The War Within than I have any era of WoW since Vanilla, and while there are a handful of places in which Midnight feels a bit samey at first, it's only because so many of the best features it's carried forward aren't brand new anymore. And while you can't make a first impression twice, everything from Delves to endgame currencies has been improved upon. Housing by itself is a massive, welcome addition that hasn't exceeded all of my wildest dreams just yet, but lays a robust foundation to build on. Enthralling new and revamped zones and a satisfying endgame loop with lots of options carry the story from high point to high point, even if there is some sag in the middle. As far as I'm concerned, we are living in a second Golden Age of WoW. And not even the Voidstorm on the horizon can bring me down.
