The SAS Pink Panthers - a Complete History
The Pink Panther Land Rover captures the imagination like few others. It was conceived by the SAS for long-range self-reliant reconnaissance for a small team to cover at least 1,000 miles and an endrance of a couple of weeks. The SAS normally operates in the shadows, so the most surprising thing is the bright pink colour that was used. Here, I take a look at the origin of the colour and all the other engineering involved to make this one of the most iconic Land Rovers ever built.
