Blooming Into Business with Lexi Lou Floral at Startup Minot

Minot area business professionals and community members gathered for another engaging morning at this month’s Start Up Minot Networking Event featuring Lexi Clark, owner of Lexi Lou Floral. Lexi shared her journey from discovering a passion for floral design to building a successful floral business. Attendees heard how Lexi launched Lexi Lou Floral in 2019, grew from a handful of weddings to managing nearly 100 weddings in a single year, and evolved her business into a creative community space that supports fellow entrepreneurs, makers, and artists. Lexi spoke about the realities of entrepreneurship, including learning financial management, navigating growth, hiring support when needed, and finding balance while building a business. She also discussed the importance of community connections, customer relationships, and creating opportunities for other small businesses to succeed alongside her. Following her presentation, Lexi engaged with attendees during a Q&A session, sharing advice for aspiring entrepreneurs and reflecting on the lessons she has learned throughout her business journey.
