National Family History Month (NFHM) Richard Morgan – First Fleet Convict and First Settler, Van Diemen’s Land with Leanne Burr This talk will give you an insight into the life and times of Richard Morgan from transportation to Botany Bay as a first fleeter convict, to serving his time on Norfolk Island, to arriving in VDL with his family as a first settler. Leanne is a descendant from Richard and will share with you her family history research in how this family endured the harsh times of early Australian settlement.
